Warm up on a chilly autumn night with a glass of mulled wine.
- 1 750ml bottle Tiziano Chianti
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup apple juice
- 2 lemons (cut into ¼ inch thick rounds)
- 2 clementines (cut into ¼ inch thick rounds)
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 2 whole nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
Combine the wine, sugar, apple juice, fruit and spices into a large saucepan or slow cooker. Let sit on low heat (without boiling) for at least one hour, letting the flavors come together. You can strain before serving, or serve as is. Enjoy warm.
