Ingredients:Tomato Basil Artichokes

  • 16 oz. artichoke hearts (frozen, thawed)
  • 14 oz. low sodium chicken broth (or 1, 14 ounce can broth)
  • 3/4 cup Tiziano Pinot Grigio
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbs. Basil (julienned)
  • 1 tbs. crushed garlic
  • 1 Roma tomato (medium, seeded and diced)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tbs. lemon juice

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 6 to 7 minutes
  2. To serve, use a slotted spoon to remove hearts from braising liquid.
